Linda Harvey’s top ten gay “abuses”
Looking back on 2011, I’ve compiled a list of the top abuses by homosexual activists and their allies in the U.S. In putting together this list, I consulted some of the top pro-family leaders around the nation, but I ended up with about 30 different entries. I’ve tried to narrow it to just 10
- Homosexuals are trying to put Christians out of business, get them fired, get them expelled from college programs and so on
She uses this Bed and Breakfast in Illinois as an example which is being sued by a gay couple for not performing the civil union. This is the only example she gives and nobody is trying to put anybody out of business here, nobody is trying to fire anybody and nobody is getting expelled from college. What does a bed and breakfast even have to do with the title she uses?
- Assault of the sex change agenda on our children
Two lesbian women in California are raising their adopted 11-year-old son as a girl, a process they started when he was just eight. These twisted adults with their ownapparent issues have lined up tragically misguided doctors to give this boy hormone -blocking drug therapy. We should all pray for this young boy and his adoptive parents
- The homosexual abuse in Macy’s Department Store and its cooperation with sex-change anarchy
She uses this case where a young woman was fired from the Macy’s San Antonio Rivercenter department store for refusing to violate her religious beliefs by permitting a young man dressed as a woman from entering the women’s dressing room.
- Gay vandalism
Vandals were caught on the security camera in an Oct. 15 attack against the pro-family group, Americans for Truth about Homosexuality, or AFTAH. Chunks of concrete with a threatening note were hurled through the window of the Christian Liberty Academy in suburban Chicago the morning before an AFTAH conference was held at the school. A homosexual radical claimed responsibility on the Internet, yet no arrest has been made. This frightening incident would have been headlines if the victims had been homosexual, but the media mostly ignored it
Homosexual radicals. This is a new one for me. OK, first I should point out that this is no way to get your point through if you want to stop homophobia. You will only make it worse. In no ways these vandals are justified and what they did is wrong and they only feed the homophobes. Second: this is an isolated case. Gays don’t go around throwing bricks and vandalizing churches usually. On the other hand, Christians love to vandalize with their messages whenever they can, wherever they can, so stop crying and grow up Linda.
- Slander and libel against New Jersey teacher Viki Knox
Last fall, special education teacher Viki was very troubled by a pro-homosexual bulletin board display at the high school where she taught. She shared her dismay based around her Christian principles with a few close friends on Facebook. Before she knew it, her comments were headlines in the New York Times, she was suspended from her job, and state and national homosexual pressure groups were leading anti-“hate” demonstrations at the school calling for her dismissal
So, what did she post on Facebook? “homosexuality is a perverted spirit that has existed from the beginning of creation”. She has the right to say what she likes to her friends but come on, Facebook is a public place. There is not enough information provided but according to The New York Times “Ms. Knox, who teaches special education classes, defended her views in lengthy exchanges with other Facebook users, referring at times to God and her Christian beliefs”. There seems to have been a lot of discrimination involved and that is why the case became public. Playing victim after discriminating is an act of a coward.
By the way, if homosexuality has existed from the beginning of creation then I can guess who created it in the first place.
- The passage of S.B. 48 in the state of California
This fact-free legislation that no one ever thought we would see in America, calls for sweeping pro-homosexual indoctrination in the public schools beginning Jan. 1, 2012.. Children will be compelled to learn about homosexuality, and those lessons must affirm this negative, high-risk lifestyle. California parents are outraged at such a discriminatory mandate, but short of repeal, their option is to remove their children from the schools or exit the state
Lady, this bill was passed to EDUCATE. Education will prevent discrimination and bullying. Education will teach people that homosexuality is not a choice. Stop turning everything around with your bias. Nobody is forcing homosexuality here. The bill “updates the California Education Code prohibiting discriminatory instruction and materials against certain categories of people from being adopted by the State Board of Education”. In an era when bullying is a real and dangerous thing, these religious people always seem to want to make it worse.
- The global homosexual agenda of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton
Just a few weeks ago, the White House and Secretary Clinton announced that United States foreign aid and support will be related to how well a country pushes homosexual behavior as a so-called “human right.” This agenda is not backed up by U.S. law, and is another example of warped priorities and inappropriate use of authority by this administration
Huh? Homosexuals aren’t human? They don’t have rights? This is what The White House has to say:
The struggle to end discrimination against lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) persons is a global challenge, and one that is central to the United States commitment to promoting human rights. I am deeply concerned by the violence and discrimination targeting LGBT persons around the world, whether it is passing laws that criminalize LGBT status, beating citizens simply for joining peaceful LGBT pride celebrations, or killing men, women, and children for their perceived sexual orientation
Is this not a good initiative? You have to love it when these Christians play victims of persecution but love to persecute whoever does not think like them.
- The deceptive “It Gets Better” video campaign
This campaign exploits vulnerable children, as celebrities, regular folks and teens themselves post videos with the goal of discouraging suicide. That would be a worthy objective, if not combined with “gay” rights mythology. Kids are encouraged to stay the course, adopt a homosexual identity and thereby expose themselves to lifelong risk. Even the president has jumped into this effort, mischaracterizing this propaganda as an “anti-bullying” effort
“Gay rights mythology”… I lost myself there for a second… wait, I’m trying to understand… Aren’t talking snakes and donkeys mythology? Aren’t virgins who get pregnant mythology? OK, I’m over it. Lady… these people are being highly discriminated and need support from other people and people like you are not providing support. People like you cause hatred towards homosexuals. People like you are the bullies, the ones that drive low self esteem persons who feel helpless to commit suicide. The get better campaign provides not all, but at least a little support for them. They feel identified with other people that are going through the same situation and that gives them hope.
- The attack on the federal Defense of Marriage Act
Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder have announced they won’t defend this federal law against lawsuits initiated by homosexual activists
This is what Attorney General Eric Holder said about Obama:
After careful consideration, including a review of my recommendation, the President has concluded that given a number of factors, including a documented history of discrimination, classifications based on sexual orientation should be subject to a more heightened standard of scrutiny. The President has also concluded that Section 3 of DOMA, as applied to legally married same-sex couples, fails to meet that standard and is therefore unconstitutional. Given that conclusion, the President has instructed the Department not to defend the statute in such cases. I fully concur with the President’s determination
This is called progress. Not much to say here.
- Abuse of homosexual activism in the United States in 2011
And the No. 1 abuse of homosexual activism in the United States in 2011, was the implementation of the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” allowing open homosexual behavior in our military. No one can yet know how damaging the repeal of the ban on sodomy will be – we can only guess – but there’s no question that it will damage the character of our armed forces and undermine their effectiveness
What does she think? That the gay troops will throw flowers at the Taliban? And why does she insult brave people who are giving their lives for whatever the United States is up to? This woman needs a head-check and a doze of reality. I really can’t believe people still think like this and it’s really sad. I personally think that as a whole we are growing out of this, but we still have a few generations to go until we all get it right. This woman calls herself a Christian but is quick to persecute and judge people that are not like her. Lady: live and let people live. What other people do is none of your business as long as they do not bother you directly. I would understand if the gay community was persecuting YOU but that is not happening. You are getting into this all by yourself and if the GLBT community decides to respond back you better not cry about it because you provoked it. That would be like punching someone and when that person punches you back you go out and tell the world how horrible that other person is for punching you.
